Never had one of there add ons. What are they like? Comparable to Nemeth Bros helis?

No , that are only low cost heliÂ´s, but for this money they are ok

One of the lads over at VATNZ posted about this recently, so after finally finding the LZ website I ended up buying 3 models, at $3 a pop how couldnt you?

Anyway, the Sikorsky S-76 is great!!, bought a civvy-skinned corporate looking one, can heartilly reccomend it, nice exterior model with some smooth interior and exterior animations and surfaces. Also has a good 2D panel, VC and sound-pack, all of which are available from LZ as free downloads.

Also bought an RAAF skinned Huey (Bell-205 UH-1H) with a gunner, opening rear door + mounted machine-gun. Very nice detail in the skin, and once again a cool 2D + VC panel combo for download. The 2D panel has two formats too one uses more real-estate than the other. The Bell looks the bizz, would be great to have a NZ repaint of it but I think LZ have a license where only they can provide repaints. A shame coz I think there are a couple of civvy S-76s in NZ too.

Third one I bought was the H500C (SAR), not bad, but the freebie Nemeth bros one seems just as good, and there are some better sound packs around too. This SAR model is supposed to have a collective controlled winch, you can see it on the exterior of the model but I'm damned if I could get it to work. If you're into the active features like cargo/load handling then you might wanna take a squiz coz LZ have a few models that have addon animations like that.

Ive never like there addons and when it comes to helos nemeth or freeware is better then these "opinion "

Mmmm... not an overly helpful post, this stuff really is essentially freeware at $3 a pop, what models in particular sucked and what sucked about them in your "opinion"?
I agree by the way that there are some great freeware helos out there.

Well the model and VCs are modelled badly and the guys in the front seats are always ugly ,CH47 ops was or always looks over size ,just about the same for each of them ,the s76 was ok but i was disappointed again until the nemeth bros came out ..
3$ is still payware and in my opinion the LZ stuff is still 2002 look alike detail..
In this day and age there is no reason to by models that are available in freeware sector ,and modelled better ,i think the only model is the s76 that you cant get a good freeware one of..

anyway its your guys money and not mine im just giving the best advice from my long helo simming career and are really not wanting ppls to think this is a great deal ,you have some facts now and you can make up your mind ...
