Its does have a look to it but i feel the same looking at some boeings and other fixwing ,and yes even helos ,,you think what where they thinking when they design that ,,there is one in nz doing heli logging somewhere,

The Westland Wessex was the first helicopter to have a
gas turbine engine and was in the early 1960s adapted
for the RAF to become a general-purpose helicopter
capable of troop-carrying, air ambulance and ground
attack roles.

It entered RAF service in 1962, and did not finally
retire until January 2003, being the main transport
and battelfield support helicopter until the
introduction of the Puma.

The bright yellow RAF machines used for air-sea and
mountain rescue duties became especially famous and
saved many lives.

ugly or not this chopper is one that will go down in history with the huey

It was a real workhorse with his special sound in that time .
During my military time in Germany, we were stationned in Hohne, near the British Fourth Tankdivision, and saw them often even with supplies for us.
This sound and the sound of our own RR Merlin, behind me in our Centuriontank, belong to the memory of my two years cavalry.
And believe me Trolly': he's really nice even the inside.

it may be a bit on the ugly side (understatement) but simshed have made it into a beautiful bit of flight simming. the exterior is amazing, even the windscreen wipers work :D
