I LOVE those old Russian birds. I reckon it'd be great fun to setup a virtual-airline that flew only the old iron-curtain gas-guzzlers, TU134s, TU154s, An-12s, Yak42s etc. Of course you'd only operate in and out of airports that still allow them (which I spose means Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa). When flying to the states or Europe you could maybe lease some long term desert stored MD11s or MD80*s with hush-kits.
Name for the airline? "Carbon Crunchers" ... "Diesel Air" ... "Eco Vikings" .. or something equally politically incorrect.
