Yes im sure you can ,also i know you can setup any AI AC in missions SDK or play back of aircraft using FSrecorder ,if you have the deluxe version with the SDK plugin you will see traffic tools aslo there is a manual for the sdk explaining those tools next thing would be doing a goggle search on doing AI in FSX ,Just remember the amount of polygons or faces on a addon Aircraft will be harder on the Sim as AI traffic made for AI has less Detail and faces etc for best performance ...
hope this helps a little ,Traffic hasent been really my thing and ive only made it work in missions and fsrecorder but are 100% on a flp hit if you are using detailed models within your addon library
