Much of a muchness really. There are no 'really great' sites, but a smattering of Air New Zealand stuff all over. I'd suggest though that you look at www.nzfsim.org for New Zealand aircraft repaints, AVSIM would also have repaints for Air New Zealand as well.

Even if found on other sites, most repaints/add-ons are *also* uploaded the "the biggies" - Avsim, FlightSim.Com and Simviation etc.

Don't forget to register with those sites - as that will allow you to do full searches etc.

HHmm well most places to get freeware you will have to join up to ,both links i posted above have none at all but haovercontrol do ask to join or be logged in too download but you can download all files there without a membership ...

If you are downloading stuff from Freeware sites so to enjoy your flight simming, i really see no reason for not joining and taking part in there site /or not ,not like you recevice spam or anything from the main one listed above like you have asked ...

enjoy whats out there ...

I'm registered with most of the main sites - and don't get spammed by any of them. I get the occasional newsletter or something, but I welcome that.

Shouldn't AVSIM, Flightsim.com be on that poll?

I have to say they are the only ones I have regularly visited since I started with FS over 10 years ago. More lately Hovercontrol too. Most of the other sites have less files and get a lot of stuff from these big two. They are also the only ones I normally upload my work to, but I do find my stuff on other sites as they leech from the big two.

Thanks, larral smile.gif ... I don't actually host anything on that site (but I could!) - they're links to the usual places. I have to admit though that I haven't checked that all the AVSIM links work since its resurrection.

I try to keep it up to date, but I tend to rely on people telling me what's [become] available. If it's freeware, I usually install the aircraft - to make a thumbnail and to see what it's like!

I've done a small number of NZ repaints

Two early NZAC Vicounts and the ex LOT Viscount with NZAC.

The short lived Skybus is done.which I think most of you know about

Also perhaps of interest although not NZ is RAAF Viscount and BAC One-Eleven and an Air Pacific One-Eleven that I think used to go to NZ

All these are on Flightsim.Com and Avsim although I stopped uploading to Avsim a while ago. The last batch of British paints were only uploaded to Classic British Files which is the only site to have all my released paints.

I'm in no position to upload anything for a while but if anyone does download my stuff or already has it and wants to upload to www.nzfsim.org then go right ahead and at least anyone checking out there will get to know about them.

Garry

Hi Garry.

Youre 2 NZNAC paints, and the Skybus NZ paint, for Rick Piper's Viscount are also on my website, which is mostly New Zealand content.
There are aircraft, repaints, AI Packages, Sceneries, and lots more. Mostly FS9 stuff, but a little smattering of FSX stuff there as well.
There is also content for the Pacific Islands, Australia and Oceania area.

Website here,.................. http://snowman.ozsimdev.com.au/
