Captainsim 757 Sids Stars and NZ fixes

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

I have the FS9 captainsim 757 and there are only stars and sids for America, england and ireland
There are also only a few fixes in new zealand

I had a look at the fixes contained in the navigation folder in the root fs9 folder
and there aren't ones like lutka and pegsa, (first ones i could think of)

Where can you upgrade your navdata (navigraph) do not support captainsim so you have
not only the fixes that exist in the default gps so you can also have the fixes necessary to
make approaches into queenstown etc.

I did some trolling around on this (as I bought the FSX version of the CS 757 along with the C-130). It appears that you might be able to use FSBuild (which *does* have updated nav data) to create flight plans which you can then import into the CS FMC. FSbuild isn't free, though - and I'm not sure whether there's an old/free version that would do the trick.

I tracked the discussion in the CS and Navigraph forums and was appalled at how two fairly prominent FS companies showed such total lack of co-operation.

If anyone knows a way of getting NZ SID/STAR info into the CS database, then I'm all ears!

I'd say I would of thought Captainsim and Navigraph would have sorted this out prior to its release. Or at least made a complete database
for their fmc, as almost all waypoints you type in it returns (not in database)

I thought about trying to somehow put waypoints/fixes and sids and stars by using some prior pmdg data release for NZ.
But that would take to long. angry.gif

Just caught this on the CS forum:

Re: NAVDATA. The only thread please!

Navdata team has just informed us that the data first release candidate is nearly ready for testing. Depending on the tests results we expect public release of the navdata starting with 0901 or 0902. Thank you for your patience.
