Here's a repaint I've done of the original Nemeth brothers MD500-E model for ZK-INZ as operated by Amalgamated Helicopters in the Wairarapa. You can download the original model and this repaint from HoverControl. The following screenshot is of the machine parked up at Masterton airport.

One of the things I couldn't get quite right was to get a sheen on the light grey on the rear of the chopper. I think I may need to do some sort of Alpha-channel tweak, does that sound right? Anyone care to point me at a tutorial that might help? Oh, and one other thing, do most of you who are doing chopper repaints tend to upload them to HoverControl or AVSim? I'm picking it depends on where the original aircraft model is hosted?

Cheers Deeknow,

Didn't realise they had an e model now. I've flown with JD and Jarod in the old D model and the R44. Great guys and great pilots.

Yeah looks like they have a Squirrel too from the shots in the gallery on their website? I don't know the guys, just love 500's and liked the look of the livery on ZK-INZ. Am gonna try and contact them to find out a little more about the history of the machine so can include with the repaint in future.
