Fairly simple i would have thought....................
It means to tilt the "seat-back" ( the part you lean your back against), forwards , so you can get past the seat to get out the emergency exit....................
Just like tilting a car-seat forward in a 2-door coupe, so you can get out the door if youre in the back seat.....................

yea, i got it. i spose things like that can be slightly confusing though. 'seat back' is the noun and 'forward' is the adverb

Ahh right thanks yea thats makes sence, Realy in a proper sentence it needed a coma: Push this seat back, Forward during emergency exit or Push the seat back, Forward during emergency exit biggrin.gif

I'd say a hyphen would be more appropriate. tongue.gif "Push this seat-back forward during emergency exit".

To me putting a comma there implies two separate instructions... unsure.gif
