Yeah not sure if its the nose or the windscreens over the top of the copit looking abit square but knowing Alphasim it will still be a really good model with high res textured VC and bits and bobs ,never know it mite also become freeware one day like alot of the others have ,you gotta love those guys for doing that after they made enough from one aircraft

its good to see that they are designing a seasprite but as you guys said the nose doesn't look right and i reckon the front middle windshield isn't wide enough.
I would really love to see an updated vc for Nigel's already fantastic seasprite. Then it would be the ultimate helo!

As most around here know, I'm a BIG rotorhead and love my FS helicopters. I'm really loving flying VFR low level in FSX and it means I finally get to use FSX more!

Can anyone please give me their HONEST opinion about whether it is worth shelling out $60 for the Alphasim Seasprite or is Nigel's freeware one just as good?

Is the documentation good???

Are the flight dynamics any good??

Is it relatively easy to fly and hover/hovertaxi/air taxi etc??

Be brutally honest and talk about it's pluses and minuses. The Alphasim website talks it up but I want to know from real users!

Thanks in advance

Mark

Mark , Alpha's Seasprite is great .. but at this cost is nothing more than a hi dollar external model , a superb paint for all variants , Documents are limited as with the cockpit procedure , and for FSX has a long gestation before VC textures arrive .. really to much if switching between internal/external ! .. the Hover and Taxi .. Default rated ! The only reason i by these models are for the external shape .. it application in a screen shot and hells .. just to add to a collection , but a chosen one because the Sprite is a type which i enjoy the design , aggressive look and happens to fly New Zealand skies .

CH53 for operations and dynamics and super reasonable ( 2/3s the price ) ......... not an Alpha .. But Nemeth .. love them to produce the SH-2

The Alphasim website talks it up but I want to know from real users!
Alpha really needed to keep their Forum open .. some reason .. a happy family , just shut the DOOR !

Real .... Ian
