Over the fields of Canterbury (NZ) , a training flight , low level , bad weather and of course the enemy fighters to contest a long war.

Testing equipment , formation flying .. the long haul

and now the weather ! OPs said it would be clearing ? :ph43r:

Lootenant Hayden stuck to the formation like glue , were in the porridge

It just seemed to get worst! Radio,n the loot to close in
holding this tight formation till the IP , we lost the rest of the group

with the late afternoon sun burning off some off the cloud we were able to relax with loot Hayden right on my Wing

Waypoint 'Timmy' time to target

3 minutes

mission complete , good training for the real war

we all can relax , droppin down below the cloud line

We have the tower , the rest off the group aborted , they were down many hours ago , late evening see the lights

MISSION COMPLETE

Yeah it's really a question that needs an answer: once there is a robust sim engine, give it 2 flavours: civvie, and then...the other kind.

(Someone said the turrets move around automatatically when the ball is extended)

Yes you can retract the Ball Turret , there is an interface screen that can put load a Bomb load and install a crew , Moving turrets not as yet (if there is a Switch I hav'nt been told about it ) .. but the Waist gunner (only one ) is scanning the skies for any bad guys when use the VLE (visual load Editor) with this has the ability to control the Turbochargers , and yes major cockpit controls are mouse clickable in the VC , If I find anything to add , ill post here

If you like WW2 types , ALPHASIM has really done well with this one , detail is impressive !

PS .. If you want to fly from airfields like Wanaka or Nelson , only carry 30% fuel load each side in one tank only . Stand on the brakes , Full throttle at 2 flap settings . :)

The VLE (visual load Editor)

adds extras .. bombs , weights , and

You get the G model and a J flown by Hayden and this D the earlier caged nose model

Famed for the Ploesti Raids

This thing has a very unique sound signature ... B17/Catalina , very typically DC3 , this 24 , a very Nice sound package . The skin texture is Brilliant !
