Old school Air New Zealand test repaint of the original ANZ paint job, I might finish this one as its not much more to do I only need a few issues cleared up, paint a new metal lower body, tail and alpha channel.

Can anyone remember if the text and the flag is surpose to be black I'm sure it is but the photos aren't that clear.

Ian, you are correct about NAA being on an F-27, but if you dig further, you will find it was first on a 732 (the first in NZ). It was then recycled onto an F27 after the original 732 was sold off.

NAC's first Boeing 737 ZK-NAC was delivered on 18 September 1968, First scheduled service was 14 Oct , further digging reveals no flag on the fuselage in the orange/red Scheme. B)

Hmmm, strange Ian. I got a pic from the man that did Red/orangge NAC and Air NZ Red/Orange livery on M Stones F-27 for me, showing ZK-NAA, Boeing 732 departing NZAA that he got from Airliners.net, when i said to him that the rego he put on one of the paint jobs was wrong. Also got an entry in my,um....ahem.....Air NZ Junior Jet Club Log Book, for NZHN to NZCH in B737-200, Rego ZK-NAA. ????????? Im really confused now.
Might have to go see if ive still got the e-mails and pics from him. (Dan Hayward).

Ian- on the photo I saw ..(urrr see above) there was no name on the nose but if you have the info on the REDS I could do them all or just let me know which ones would be of interest , can't remember the ones I flew on .... only the creaking of the body and the noise of the engines :) .

also does anyone know what the the white circle is and the white bird shape, are they the merger airlines ... err TEAL and NAC.

does anyone know what the the white circle is and the white bird shape, are they the merger airlines ... err TEAL and NAC.

Indeed they are the old TEAL and NAC logos
On 1985/86 fleet list ,these 4 were listed NAE 'Pourourou' along with the 1st NAC NAJ NAM where as sold , maybe reason for the flag. :ph43r:
