Eurocopter's EC 135 is a very powerful lightweight twin-engine multipurpose helicopter and is operational worldwide. Over 600 have been delivered since the helicopter entered service in 1996 and the helicopter is flown by over 100 customers in 27 countries.

The helicopter incorporates Eurocopter's low-noise patented Fenestron tail rotor. The array of ten blades in the Fenestron are arranged asymmetrically and are spaced at different intervals which substantially reduces the helicopter noise.

The standard version carries the pilot and six or seven passengers. The VIP / executive version is fitted for four or five VIP passengers. The cabin is fitted with large sliding doors for easy boarding and exit. The Emergency Medical Service helicopter can be flown by one or two pilots. The helicopter can carry one or two stretcher patients and up to three doctors and medical attendants. Different medical installations are tailored to the operating organisation's need.[/quote]

Those guys are very good.
But it will be a hard act to follow this one from Heiko Richter.
It had a fantastic texture makeover, done by Samy Fay.

The external model probably won't be beaten, but the real development would be in the VC.
(Although the FS9 model had a superb 2D panel with full FADEC and logic controls, and a limited but functional VC).
I suspect that our expectations should focus on the office rather than the external model from now on (as predicted by ALPHASIM designers).
Question is: do you fly a helicopter from the VC? My guess is it would take some learning, as the clickspots move just when you need to use them.

EDIT: Something I love about the Eurocopters is their composite materials bodywork - it doesn't ding and dent with time, and so remains beautifully sculpted and glossy.

Yes, i fly about 80% in VC Cockpit of a helicopter. Please notice, the Nemeth EC135 is only for FSX.

I do exclusively....reason being you need to look around alot but this can be hard to do in flightsim (unless you have a TrackIR/FreeTrack). I hear ya about the clickspots though....it can be extremely frustrating trying to fly a helicopter level, change collective etc and then look down/zoom in to change a setting.....then just before you change having to look up to correct pitch/yaw/roll before having another go <_<

The FSX Acceleration EH-101 is bad for this as the gauges and dials are very small/far away. Another bad one is the IAS/Mach and AP Roll Rate knobs on the default 737....they are tiny!
