Hi all.
Easy as this - I've not been able to find a Nanchang in all my eight years of simming, and it's a crime! I finally flew one a couple of weeks back - WOW! FREAKIN WOW! - and I want to train myself up in FS9 to ready myself for a rating once I have my PPL. I have a really nice Tomahawk to prep me for my real-world lessons in DMF and EQH, and I'm contemplating the Just Flight Tiger Moth at some point, but we desperately need a CJ-6a to blat around in.
Does anyone know about any plans for a future payware, donationware or freeware Nanchang CJ-6a? Are you developing one? Is the guy down the road? In England?
I hope I'm not alone in wanting one - the NZ repaint opportunities are many, with more out of restoration in the next two years.
Surely there's at least development work being done?
ANY news would be great!

Hey Zac , only one close to type would be the VAP Yak-52

Yes it would be nice but never seen one - the Yak like Ian said is the closest.

Is EQH still around? I soloed in that years ago. I was going to do a repaint of that for the Justflight Tomahawk but can't find any photos. (Sorry for the thread creep).

Well I'm pretty sure EQH is still there....or else the "ECHO QUEBEC HOTEL" placard I noticed on the instrument panel during my lesson yesterday was a total lie! ;-)
Re the Yak, thanks guys, it'll probably have to do for the forseeable future. *sigh*
Oh Deane.....? Deeeeane?

I'd like to see a Nanchang too, although yaks are way better....

I have 2 different Yak-52 models on my fs, one for fs2002, the other one the ailerons move the opposite way round

It was worth a try! Just as well I didn't PM you asking! So you'd probably not be keen on doing the Andrews A-1, DH Fox Moth or Dragonf;ly either then?
Any suggestions of designers to approach? Anyone?

With BSMP you can certainly count on an excellent product when it is released, for me that justifies the time it takes to produce.

I see GASKA's thread announcing his intention to make a Nanchang has mysteriously disappeared....is the project dead in the rice paddy water?

He asked for his membership to be deleted without any explanation- so I guess he won't be providing us with the 'exclusive' Nanchang he promised anymore!
