This is one of my all time favorite choppers ,the westland wasp /scout ,very old school ,and served our own navy for many years
there has been only the one model modelled by alphasim that ive ever seen of these wonderful helos for fs ,but sadly the animations of the rotors do not work and the panel in my copys are removed ,
now i know this alphasim guy is on these shores now ,and this aircraft would be a winner if it was released for fs9 or X i suppose ,well on our shores anyway
but failing that there mite be a good chance of getting source files to fix it up .
on the alphasim site it states

so that means we can fix it and re realease it on any site but ,we need the source files to mod it ??

Mike , Super pic s , the WASP mm never looked at that model , I do prefer the Navy version to the lesser Army counterpart .. .. I have the Alpha Connie , this is a plane that has always touch'd a nerve with me , and tried to get the source file for it without any joy ! bugger .. this also really needs work and update .. recent return to Oz with few hundred photos and many books and even have a USN Connie crewman regular on this forum .
Its a pity not able to help fix old models . prob lucky for me .. 2 many things in works at the mo .... I'm Guessin - be very much the same with yourself

yeah i like the naval version better ,its sad that these models dont get realeased with a source file like they do over at hovercontrol ,its a real waste to the company and the designers that design these models whatever they are fall to the waste side and never get to be relived again ..what where they thinking ,
i could model a new one up but getting into fs working is other matter ,i dont use gmax
i use later versions of max and ive always had a problem exporting them ,textures are the main problem there nothing ever maps properly and max doesnt like the dx3 textures ,just loses map cords after mips and dx3
this is the same thing for the sh2 ive got
ive got lots to read up on and i just get lost in translation ,
i for one will not rest until i see this model made fixed or better just working
it would be real shame though not to want to take credits for a helo and re release it with source files if requested
though i cant say ive tryed as it says clearly not to bother them
could start polls on older aircraft ie {1000 votes yes }and redirect those designs who made them to show them there is still the want for them to be fixed and alive ?
there are so many
