But I'm not too sure how to do the camouflage in PS, so I can't do the 14 sqn repaint, sorry fellas.
RNZAF 14 SQN paint job my mate that was on squadron with me back in the day did - even chucked me in the pilots seat haha..
ThinkingManNeil wrote:QUOTE (ThinkingManNeil @ Apr 15 2014,11:22 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hi:
I'd like to request a repaint for the Alabeo Piper PA38 Tomahawk II. Last year I installed the ORBX FTX NZSI scenery with Ian Warren's help (thanks muchly, Ian...) and then installed the North Island scenery earlier this year and have been enjoying them together immensely. Now what I'm looking for is an aircraft to leisurely cruise around in and enjoy the scenery.
Although I took my real world flight training years ago in Cessna 152's and 172's I've always been partial to the Tomahawk for its modern, good looks and stable handling. I have the Just Flight version of the Tomahawk, but I'm a real fan of the recent Alabeo offering, but I'd really like to be able to fly the islands in an NZ-registered aircraft, although what I have in mind is a fictitious paint scheme based on Massachusetts-based East Coast Aero Club Tommy seen here...
Tommy Paint Scheme
But instead of the mid-blue, white, and red colours of that scheme I thought it would look really striking in the colours of this Argentinian Tomahawk of Midnight Blue, silver, and a gold dividing stripe with the registration code ZK-RNH done in the same style (RNH are the initials of my father who gifted me with his love of airplanes and aviation)
Argentine Tomahawk
I don't have access to PhotoShop or any other graphics or paint program so I would genuinely appreciate it if an artist here would take this on.
Thanks,Last edited by ThinkingManNeil on Thu Apr 17, 2014 4:24 am, edited 1 time in total.

Thanks Ian. I saw one for the Tommy over there and grabbed it - it looks great - but I'm still hoping someone might do the scheme I described as I think it would look quite striking...

Have you tried that link Ian? Rumours have it that sadly Jon Murchison has now retired from Flightsim.
