Hey all!

Fantabulous news! Here's some pics of a Pfalz D.IIIa for, I think, FS9/X. As you can see from Gavin's fantastic real-world photo, and if you were at Classic Fighters Marlborough this year (and if you werent, well, pfft to you! :P ) you'll see this FS version is painted in similar colours to ZK-FLZ, the Personal Plane Services/Doug Bianchi-build D.IIIa reproduction owned by the 14-18 Heritage Trust.

And about time, too!

So, who's up to do a repaint as JPI? Hehe....seven-colour lozenge!! :ph43r:

Hey Zac - the Pfalz would look good in formation with the excellent freeware Bristol Fighter - and when we have Robins Omaka it would make some good screen shots.

How intriguing...do tell, Mr Warren! I'm keen to hear more. Did anyone get any pics, and perhaps a Wanaka Chaika-style "kill" marking?

Naki, you're certainly onto something there! Gavin Conroy, who introduced me to the Pfalz, also has a very fine D.VII he's loving at the mo, so a Classic Fighters 07 combo of D.IIIa and D.VII can't be too far away.

And, of course, one someone tackles a JPI seven-colour-lozenge repaint, we can do the Blue Max trio! Great fun ahead!

I wasn't at Wanaka that year, unfortunately, but have the video and book. Or are you referring to Forum Field?....cos I wasn't there, either.... <_< :(

Hey Zac - have downloaded the Pfalz and the Fokker DVII (this is one of my favourites of WW1 along with the SE-5A, Bristol & the Camel).

A lot of fun with a firing machine gun on both (although u can't destroy anything unfortunately) - now I'll try and get a screen shot with both of them together as well as the Bristol Fighter. Makes me want to go out and buy a really good WW1 combat sim - suggestions anyone?

Any chance of some nice pics sometime soon? I'm dying to see this pair together....oh man, when I get a PC again, and broadband, I'd love to fly the D.VII off your wing...or the D.IIIa....

Got a Camel? Let's see some dogfights!
