Im really excited about this release from WarThunder ..... I have a bit of work to do before its in my hanger, but it wont be long.
I would love one for P3D , but theres nothing. The last good Jag was way back in 2004 (Alphasim)

Well... yes and no.
You get this effect in FS sometimes, the second one in particular looks like a 1/24th scale model!
Never did put my finger on what makes it so.
Nice model and shots though, of another one of those I Can't Believe It's a Half Century Old aircraft

I agree ...some of these models look plastic. I think its a combination of the textures, and maybe the lighting and angle.
I recall a similar comment from you on a P-51 paint in IL-2 ... and "plastic" came to the fore ..I never used it again

You're right Marty, but I think having nothing in a shot to scale it against contributes. It looks fine in the first pic. Even in AFS2, some ridge lines look like cardboard cut-outs, but a few trees usually fixes that.
