TOP 3 AIRCRAFT

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

We've nattered about this in the choppers thread, so what's your favourite fixed-wing aircraft?

If you had to delete everything else and keep just three, what would they be?

I don't have any payware aircraft (performance reasons) and no really hardout freeware (eg:ifly744)

1:posky 767-300ER with lonny payns 757 panel (is that how you spell his name?)
2:IFDG A320-232-with erics A320 panel (althogh this ac is very hard on the frames I couldn't part with it)
3:Piper PA28-140 by Ole Egholm (I need a break from the heavys sometimes)

I'm sure when my pc's specs change so will this list lol

and a fav of mine is the fu24 rangatiki air crop duster found @ flightsim freeware but is only 2002 compatable but who cares it still works in fs2004 and add acouple of dusting effects and your away with a great looking model
they are all very good and jimmy some of the payware out there doesnt live up to most freeware models that you mite of experanced ,
i was a very fond downloader of freeware and some of my best aircraft to date are freeware so hang on in there get that dream system of yours that is the most important addon to fs to date

Howdy,

1. Bill Lyon's G21 Grumman Goose (was payware, now freeware);
2. FSD PA-31 Piper Navajo (payware), although certain liveries tend to bring my rig to its knees :(
3. Milton Shupe's Aero Commander 500 Cargo version (freeware).
Regards,
Dorian

Milton Shupe's craft certainly are good aren't they?

I particually like his Spartan Executive 1930's monoplane :D

ZK-LGD- I previously looked for a Grumman Goose like the one in your avatar but never found one, but after a search adding "Bill Lyon" into the AVSIM libary, I have just found cc9g21f2.zip :D

3 BEST is a little silly .... I enjoy all payware .. Damm also so much superb freeware !

Its not a compeition but to have better screenie or requested .. almost look before buy , but with this forum community , the why's its good or other side , posting screenies and show .

A lot people look at something different .

I would like to see the compare ... all the 737's out there , freebe's / payware .. the whys they are best .

Good Example on payware :

The LD767, this is an amazing model / sound / ops /animation BUT on it tail is the PMDG747 , both models have matured to such a dynamic state , what can u out there can tell me about your FAV payware .

Good Example on freeware :

I put a ? months back on recommend payware Helo , this has been answerd with the Wessex Heli .

Miltons Howard500 !
KTB P3 Orion

I feel you can't compare payware with freeware - maybe it should be your FAVOURITE (not best) 3 payware and FAVOURITE 3 freeware aircraft on your hard drive- my favourite freeware would be KBT Orion, LIC Christen Eagle and the Maule.

OK...the question was if you had to wipe out all but 3 on your sim, what would you keep?
It's an interesting list so far, each of us has a favourite and it might not be the best this or that, simply favourite, like an old jumper.
I actually only have two favourites at the moment, because I'm not flying any mil or heavies for now:
- Aeroworx B200 Super King Air, it does everything an airliner would do, and most of what GA does too.
- Nemeth MD500E, a whisker ahead of Owen Hewitt's Bell 206, it has a great VC, handling, is fast and a great visual model. That's it on the left.

Tell a lie, I often jump into the RealAir Siai Marchetti (in GNZLAP colours for screenshots). Flying it from the VC is incomparable.
