Ole RAZBAM was working on one couple years back, seems that is shelved at the moment , they are a pretty aircraft and be well worth seeing it completed, KBT's Team P-3 is still a good stopgap

Yep, the KBT Orion is still a go to for some serious off shore flying, with a great selection of models, so much so one gets totally confused as to what is what after a while, so sticking to the RNZAF and the RAAF versions makes life simple, except the VC. I have had several goes at updating it with more modern kit but in the end surrendered, just too complicated to make it work, it seems they only allowed very small holes here and there for gauges in the model which defeats your attempts to bolt in EFIS stuff including the engine gauges. I know AB was working on something once but nothing more heard there either. I did find a great updated 2004 cockpit but for the EA version but alas 60% of the gauges were not FSX compatible and that was the end of that.

Very typical many complain about, the VC , one thing tho Bendy .. the selection of different versions KBT produced are not amiss, this is one area they not been beaten in ... imagine if they turn there attention to the Neptune!

Yep, agree. The problem with the VC is really that is flaky, works then does not work then works or does something different. If you drive it off the autopilot subpanel it is ok but otherwise, ffpphh! frustrating because the models and dynamics are first class. If I have another year to spare, LOL, I might have a go at the EA cockpit gauges at some time but when I did a file compare the list of stuff that needed to change ran off the page, bugger!

I think maybe it not a great loss, everything is there, I never found a prob with the VC , never know what is in the works .. maybe an update again , after all it is the only P-3 and a goodie .
