NZFF

Anybody know if there is anybody working on a repaint for the JF DC-6 in particular the TEAL and BCPA era paints for this aeroplane. I have them for the Cal Classic DC-6 but alas have no found them for the JF DC-6. Repainting anything by JF is for me outside of my skill set.

I only have the rego to slap on the side off T.E.A.L s ZK-BGA and the ground vehicles to paint for the JF DC-6 , three years I started but keep getting pulled onto other projects , I have a little art job tomorrow morn , maybe released for Monday.

Well thats something to look forward to! The TEAL colour scheme (literally a TEAL colour) was a very nice paint job. The pictures of them on the ground in Fiji and elsewhere are just wonderful, the offset of the expanses of polished aluminium was very impressive and seemed to enhance the size of the aeroplane when you were near them. A paint for this nice model by Aeroplane Heaven (for JF) will really complement it and I think this FSX release is very good and fun to fly, trouble is I have trouble trolling around in the sim in an aircraft that does not have the colours of where I live or lived, Oz, NZ and the Pacific. Some American airline doesn't do it, though the JAL version is acceptable. Never sure about Pan Am, a bit accident prone in real life for my liking and besides their yanks!

Don't worry I have a couple of those "works" in progress myself

Great Effort Ian and a timely addition to the NZ Fleet, now I can trundle about the Pacific in the right aeroplane, not some yank thing. A big thanks from me, well done.
