HI guys haven't been on here a while now but just wondering whether anyone knows whether there is a decent Jetstream 31-32 for FSX, the X-Plane one is brilliant but cant use it in FSX Virtualcol has the J31, but not very keen on Virtualcol models

anyone else know of any decent ones?

Yeah I was hoping of something in the quality of Majestic Q400 or similar?

The VirtualCol is the only detailed model at present, I was gonna pass on it myself at first but did buy it in the end, it's a decent deal at $10us

I don't have the Jetstream or the Q400, so I really can't comment. There is a review of the JS31 here: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/content.p ... Mike-Stone.
There are a few NZ liveries available.

The VirtualCol model is like their other addons, simple both graphically and in terms of simulation depth. The X-Plane JS32 is graphically impressive but has a lot of inaccuracies in terms of simulation with switches doing the wrong things, weird engine behaviour and that kind of stuff.

I would love to see a nice JS31/32 for FSX/P3D myself, but I think the closest you can get to a properly simulated and graphically impressive Jetstream is the 41 by PMDG :P.

Good thing with the PMDG41 it dose come have albeit with a actual tho defunct 'Origin' and strangely I think there is a maybe an what if 'Jetstar' paint for it ... 'VirtualCol' sounds more like a brand name for bottle off fizzy drink or a low cal beer .

I would doubt you will see a Virtualcol paint , this maybe is were you should pick up your Virtual paint brush ... on top of FS flying I think you really would enjoy the painting as well.

Maybe foresight as to what the planes will end up holding after they become tin cans :D .

I've had a very small hope in the back of my mind for years of someone making a decent JS31/32 for FSX or P3D. Got my hopes up with the X-Plane one, but it turned out to be fairly rubbish with buttons doing weird things, flight dynamics completely off and a rude developer response after I offered my help to improve it if he wanted to do so :P . By now I have very little hope left. The JS41 is already a niche plane, take away 10 seats, glass screens and about 600shp per engine and it's even less appealing for most simmers. I usually end up substituting the plane on any flight I would like to do on a JS31/32, to either the JS41 or Metroliner.

It dose take a dedicated bunch to get the ball rolling, once cooking its 'slip slop slap' , I've half pie walked away from many projects simply at the mo other more important agenda's locally at least anyway spend a little time doing other things in FS , a Jetstream tho is maybe an incoming, you never know.
