I want some Military Aircraft, but I dont know what to get! I want some fighter jets and transport planes etc. Preferably New Zealand ones, But I dont really care.

You can find some awesome older free stuff from www.alphasim.co.uk although there is very little (if any) NZ stuff on there.

Search for the FSKBT Orion. 'tis very good for freeware.

If you're after some New Zealand military, and you don't mind the more sedate aircraft, download Rick Piper's Andover (I'll have the repaints ready for it soon). It's great fun to fly, and is capable of landing in very tight spots. There is also a beautiful RNZAF Devon around. There's a Hastings in RNZAF markings, and I uploaded an RNZAF repaint for Mike Stone's Bristol Freighter on Avsim.

As already mentioned, go and get the FSKBT Orion - awesome model.

If you're after something with a little more get up and go, I came across a Venom once in RNZAF marks - that was really fun to fly. Can't remember if if was FS2002 or FS9 though. The da Silva brothers released some really nice Skyhawks a while back. I did an RNZAF repaint for it - should be on Avsim too.

Sorry I don't have all the details to hand of filenames etc - lost them all when the HD died and haven't got around to finding them again.

I'll post more details if/when I discover them again.

Infact , check the years hottest files in the avsim library you'll find plenty of good military downloads. "Kirk Olsson" makes good military stuff for free on avsim.
