For general interest, and to support the multiplayer activities so a bunch of us can fly together with the same liveries/models, here's a list of freeware aircraft models that have RNZAF/RNZN liveries available.
Please post a reply if you spot something new and I'll add to the list. Adamski does have a website with a comprehensive list of NZ repaints, and Tom is also working on one. Lets see how this thread works out though as a dedicated millitary one?

We should also try and keep this list to one recommended model only so that we don't have to be installing every available option for a particular airframe.

Aermacchi MB339: Dino Cattaneo/FS9
flightsim.com : model (mb339p13.zip) and skin (mb339nz.zip )

Agusta Westland EH101: FSX default

BAC Strikemaster 167: Nigel Booth

Excellent!

ARNZX has a few military repaints for the default FSX aircraft like the EH-101 and DC-3:

http://www.flightsim.co.nz/repaints/aircra...estland%20EH101

http://www.flightsim.co.nz/repaints/aircra.../Douglas%20DC-3

http://www.flightsim.co.nz/repaints/aircraft/FSX/P51

Side note: Did a search for RNZAF on Sim-Outhouse and found another 1980-era livery for the A-4 Skyhawk:
Virtavia RNZAF A-4K Skyhawk II Ohakea AFB, 2 Sqn 1988.zip
...or do a search for RNZAF in the FSX files section of their library, and look on page 2. Author is "montie".

Perhaps an application to install of of them at once would be easier?

Don't think so BOB ! rolleyes.gif ... winkyy.gif , each has its own little must read and install also right of file property, and could you imagine the file size .. once a MP theme has been chosen its as simply digging these files up and installing which is very Very good practice, biggest thing is keeping to the theme.

Mister KBTs P3 alone is well worth installing on its own, its been a must have even since 2004 , so it take that one out off the equation , good thing is jumping into an MP with these guy's supreme works would make for a fun ride, and I'm very sure they would really appreciate a real MP to show the aircraft .

Now that would make for a superb theme for a MP - ORION

I agree! Who's the designated cameraman to be making the videos? I haven't really done anything like this online before, only played SNO on vatsim. Would be keen to have a look

Even before thinking videos , we need to get interested people to simply even join a MP.

Going five/six years back - getting was a dozen people it was easy, everything from carrier OPs to a huge following with Nije's CT-4, .. that's all we need is others having the interest , also requires TeamSpeak3 for comm's. .. simple as that .

I must admit that over the many years I have developed an insatiable love of baby 150/152 Cessnas, Microlights, and whirly Gyrocopters/Gyroplanes...

..so that excludes me from all you high-speed, military, trigger-happy, Top Gun types!... winkyy.gif .... winkyy.gif ...!

...... laugh.gif .....!

Paul...Multiplayer G-BPLF... biggrin.gif ...!

Yeah, I was like that but then Ian corrupted me! Actually, I tried a few select aircraft from A2A and they were so much more realistic that I was hooked and found myself standing on the brink of another slippery slope. I still have relatively few military types (well, maybe it's getting up towards 50% now) but have learned to enjoy and appreciate them. Try dipping your toes in and slide down to join the others!! blink.gif

I'm off to try the Milviz Phantom now. One I've always yearned for after reading about pilot's stories from the Vietnam era so now it's available I can't keep my sweaty hands and beady eyes off it . . . . plane.gif

Added the POSKY 757-200 with RNZAF texture. Its an old FS9 model and not super detailed exterior wise, you also need to alias it to some default sound and panel.
The RNZAF texture isnt too flash, could do with a revisit by one of our repainters smile.gif

Also added the Curtiss P40-E Kittyhawk from IRIS (FSX, now freeware)

The RNZAF B757 livery addon for the Just Flight Freemium was a freebie last night when I downloaded it. Wasn't there the night before when I looked. Direct link to download http://www.justflightdownloads.com/esd/757...ivery_RNZAF.exe
