It's been a loooong time since I last visited this forum. I think it's 3-4 years ago. Reason? Time... and a computer which can't run FS acceptable. But I'm planning to buy a new desktop within a few months and then install FSX and the 2 ORBX NZ sceneries.

But I've made quite a few AI-relevant flightplans and repaints (including Air New Zealand, which is my favorite airline, even though I'm living in Denmark).

Right now I'm making a Air New Zealand B737-300 repaint for a new AI model. I've started using the paintkit for the FSX native model, which also gives a huge improvement in the quality (FS9 used 1024x1024 pixel, while FSX uses 2048x2048 pixel. That means 4x better quality).

Anyway.

For the B737-300 repaint I've noticed a sticker on the port side door:
http://www.planespotters.net/Aviation_Phot...7234&size=l

It's quite notable here.

Does anyone know what it is, and maybe someone even have a picture of it, or at least know where I can get one (maybe a website).

Thanks in advance!

Welcome back Johan , over short periods the aircraft have and get stickered , NZ sports teams have faved logos and was a 'Silver Fern' sticker placed on/beside the door when they traveled up and down New Zealand a few years back .

Thanks Ian.

I found out what the sticker is. It's a Enviro Gold sticker from QualMark, the NZ tourism's official mark for quality. So it's now added to the paint.

CLASSIC ..

Classics
The 737-200 was succeeded in 1984 by the 737-300. This was a much quieter, larger and more economical aircraft and contained a host of new features and improvements. The new model featured many aerodynamic, structural, cockpit and cabin features developed for the new -generation 757/767.

Before or when the younger generation around that's pre PC ... that's talking people who brought and followed the fraternity those many years back pre 1986 ... the original 100/200 series was the 'CLASSIC' it since - easy to change the righting's the word to sell to the public , it stuck with the new media ( WIKIPEDIA tongue.gif ) - i have many published works , like history many conveniently forget and subscript to latest published material .

EXAMPLE : OK Boeing Aircraft .. Many want a B-17F .. the A2A example again , they won't do it because to many model changes , .. They simply wanted to stay with the 'G' saves energy in redesigning , the first chin turreted B-17 was built by Douglas and still known as an 'F' model .. course buy the books and learn the history ... and impressive model designs . cool.gif

Now What we want is to GREY/GREEN door sticker a CLASSIC smile.gif

Thanks! Really appreciated! And yes, it's a repaint for a new AI model released about 1 month ago. The paints are shown on a native FSX AI model, but I'll also redo the paints, and make the compatible for the FS9 AI model, which is also released together with the FSX model.

The paints have been through a betatest at one of the many AI sties, and have been found good to go (actually without any remarks at all smile.gif). But I'll hold it back, because I'm also making a retro paint where I've included the old "waves", which will be like mid-2008.

These look fantastic. When do you anticipate them being available for download?

Have these been released as yet. If so where can they be found?
