Check out the link to a list of 8 recent vids of the forever up coming Dash 8 halfway down the page. Awsome new working 3D sound set. 2nd vid in the list shows the startup. Music to the ears. Evan the 3d prop texture becomes thinner as the blade pitch is set to fine.

Not bad. They probably have a renewed sense of urgency now that PMDG is doing a Dash 8 package tongue.gif

Looking good huh. Shame the resolution of those vids wasnt a little higher though, the HD wasnt exactly HD aye.
The VC looks fabulous, love that reflective glass surface on the flight displays.

Probably right, but nonetheless, nothing like a competitor announcing the same/similar product as you to get you out of bed and working at a feverish pace!

No sleep if you want to beat the competition! It's certainly a case of "you snooze... you lose!" smile.gif

It veritably rains Dash 8 Q400's...
Another one advertised in SimMarket's newsletter, for X-Plane 10:
http://secure.simmarket.com/aerosoft-onlin...r-x-plane.phtml

I wonder if there's anyone keen enough on Dash 8 Q400's, to install all 3?
Maybe one of them will port a Dash 8 Q400 to FS9 too!

Thought does occur: X-Plane is the only one being developed by the original outfit.
At what point does it overtake the MS offerings?

Be interested to see this Xplane , good friend has it and with a few mod's use MS 2004 scenery , never bothered to ask to look at it .

I think best wait for word from the PMDG group to pop their head up and check that product out , the JS-41 is pretty impressive cool.gif

Seen a few lately posted , new models 767 example , to me still seems so FS2002 as far as model and scenery , one thing Paul pointed out to me cos , he only has a low end PC .
