Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby wolfmanslack » Sat Mar 03, 2012 5:48 pm

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has a repaint of the 747-200 in Air new Zealand livery.

Or a link where I can download it from.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

The VMAX one was not bad but I found that it did have a few annoying issues. I think CLS have it now and Air NZ is one of the liveries. The FRATs didn't seem to work in some modes and it also seemed to be skating on ice after landing (probably a contact issue). Other than that it was quite enjoyable.

Just keep in mind that it is an older product so it is not up to the present offerings.
You might like to try the Ready for push back freeware first to check it out. I think I have the files saved somewhere. PM me with an email address if you want to try it.

Hey Stu, the CLS model as you about to find out is actually ok considering its age, lots of repaints about, exterior looks pretty good, 2D panels are also pretty clean and tidy, look like they're based on real photos as background textures. Not sure where you're buying it from but you do get specials on the CLS titles every now and then and I reckon they're all worth picking up then at the very least.

Does that download have the add ons as well? The Cargo and passenger load config as well as a few others that I can't recall.

I will have to totally install , the addons i believe don't come with the package but for FS2004 was the best .. heck FS2000 it was the one to beat , I guess the answer will come when i re-post when finding ANZs paint .

Good thing , it was impressive for the time , be ideal for FSniners to really try a superb 200 .
