So, I'm in the market for a light aircraft yet again, and have narrowed things down to the following:

Aerosoft "PZL Wilga"
Carenado "Cessna 182RG"
Carenado "Beechcraft C90 King Air" (not yet released)
Nemeth AS-350 Squirrel

I'm wondering if a few of the trusted members here could help me decide!
Some back story....

I obviously like the Eastern/Russian stuff, so the Wilga looks like it would fit very well under that category. The downsides that I can see are that it's apparently pretty slow (how slow/how's the performance), and is not IFR capable (also, does it have a transponder?).

Regarding the Cessna, I used to fly a Cessna 172RG Cutlass in the real world quite often (before the FBO sold it to an operator that was literally across the country), so I have a soft-spot for this type of plane. The 182RG is practically the same thing.

For the King Air, I really enjoy commuter type flights and small turboprop aircraft. It fits well with my flying style, but will also likely be the most expensive product on this list. It won't be released for another couple of months. (March/April) Some guarantees of New Zealand liveries would be a strong selling point for me, but that's obviously an impossibility at this point. A side note: I was looking at the RealAir Turbine Duke, but there seems to be an almost complete lack of addon liveries, and it's also probably still more expensive than what the C90 will be upon release. (I imagine the C90 is going to have a lot of addon liveries created for it as well.)

The Eurocopter, well...I've been around helicopters (mainly Eurocopter products) for literally my entire life, and enjoy flying them in the real world occasionally (AS365), and in the sim. There also seems to be more and more New Zealand liveries appearing now! Downside is that I'm very wary when it comes to Nemeth now, since they're known now more for buggy releases with slow fixes, than well-polished products.

So...two light planes, a turboprop not yet released, or a light helicopter?

For those with any of the addons, what do you like (and dislike!) about them?

Actually, add the Virtavia/Alphasim Tu-22KD "Blinder" to that list. Just remembered that it's out there and FSX native.
Anyone have it and would like to chime in?

Ian, still considering the Squirrel, but despite there being a number of excellent liveries, I keep hearing iffy things about it. Convince me... smile.gif

I do have the TU22 , it really could with a good paint , more photo real to really give it a lift - it was good in its time but really showing its age today .

The Squirrel , well i would say id have it normally by now work dictates what i get currently .... NUTS outta work at the mo .

I can spend a little , you have the Bronco ?- that i consider a GA type , well has a version that can be painted to suit the bush field cargo hopper , dynamic cockpit and spend a lot off time in it .
