Posted: Thu Dec 29, 2011 3:47 pmIn between a whole lot of chores, a softball game and two social rugby games I managed to start and damn near finish two paints. A Macchi and the Frat A-4K in pre Kahu colours. The macchi is just a whole lot of photo with some colour matching. And the Skyhawk is just a whole lot of paint brushing and pen tooling in PS. I'm really getting to like this repainting business, and researching the individual aircraft and looking for paint plans and pics.
That pesky probe is peeving me profusely. <masterful alliteration there!
No rego etc as yet, still a few tweaks till I'm happy with it.
This paint doesn't look right with out the signature camel hump to fill it. However I don't think that illegal fisherman gives a toss!
