I'm in the market for an early Christmas prezzie for myself tongue.gif and first thought is huey... So which one Aerosoft or Nemeth? Feedback welcome.

Can only talk for Aerosoft - The good. Well detailed, VC is great (apart from the Radar altimeter which is a hassle to find to turn on) now has RNZAF paint thanks Jan:) A huey driver I know was impressed by the model and detail when I showed him.

The bad: Can't use FSUIP with it and have to use default FSX drivers which is pain to swap between the two. If you are not used to choppers get ready to spend a few hours learning how to drive them

Can only speak for the Aerosoft Huey which is great fun, very easy to fly and works well.

they both have their pros and cons

the aerosoft is more suited for the civilian model, sadly the texturing is somewhat limited for detail and some find the VC hard to read

while the ND huey is more suited for the mil flyers with the guns and stuff, but some have complained about the frame rates but it comes with far more detailed paints

but good news there are RNZAF paints for both at OzX

owning both all i have to say is, depending on what you want it for will be the deciding factor for

Like Matt , have both , I would go the Aerosoft , more the type used by the airforce and internals better and flight dynamics requiring rudder pedals .
