cantu's model still rules in my mind but it's not the most detailed thing ever.

Sad to see you removed the pic Dan, it looked pretty awesome.

It's a shame you didn't finish it off, as if your Saab 2000 is anything to go by, then I bet it would be a stunner!

Thanks Andrew just sick of getting hijacked to be frank. the SAAB took 2 years but it's understandable as it was our first model (Iwas learning GMax while doing it) and we redid it several times. Taking recent accounts into consideration it should now take about 6 months (the metro I have done was done in the space of a couple of months to where it is now which is about 70 percent complete) just depends on the aircraft I guese.

Woah- I would never have guessed that. How much work per week is that then- 9 till 5 everyday, or just in your freetime?

Apologies to you Dan, i didnt mean to be rude towards your work when i said Eric Cantu's B-732 was the one. I meant of the aircraft models that were presently available.
I wholeheartedly agree with Andrew about what yours would have been like quality and detail wise if you had completed it, if your S2000 was anything to go by

As a modeller trying to make it in the FS community you just get sick of hearing about the Cantus, the POSKY's, and Pipers etc in relation to your own work. I know I am way too over sensitive in that regard but you tend to pour alot of soul into these things regardless (the SAAB having 2 years worth of it ).

I too favour Eriks stuff more so than nething that POSKY or Tinmouse can release but I did want to see what people thought about my model before it went in the bin.

Just freetime Trolly you still have to earn to eat

It takes far less time now though as I have developed alot of GMax skills but I am still learning.

Hey Dan,..... there is no reason why you cant complete the model if you so desire.
Its a world all about choices these days, and a lot of people may prefer your work to any of the others. There are many, many models out there that have been made by different deigners, even though they may the exact same version of an aircraft, there is allways something a little different about everybody's work, whether it be a detail missing on one persons version, or some detail just much better done on another version. I like having a choice, as im sure do you, and most other people as well.
Have a go mate, i'll be looking for it, especially if it ends up in NAC colours.
