Gidday guys,

Just wondering what the best 777 and A340 models are for FS9 and FSX? Preferably freeware with a VC, unless there is an absolutely outstanding payware model out there?

I have heard good things about the POSKY 777, and have got it, but I have never got the VC working properly. Either it doesn't show up at all, or the guages/screens are black.

I am flying from Calgary to Frankfurt on a A340 in about a months time, so I would like to replicate that on my sim.

Smooth landings!
Scotty

As Eddy says the POSKY (aka FSPro) 777 is your best bet freeware wise.

For payware forget about the Wilco/777 it has a lot of issues that may dissapoint. There is however a very nice 777 for FS9 by PSS, has been around for awhile but the systems modelled are really pretty good and worth paying for IMHO. FSX wise there is the CaptainSim in progresss and a PMDG in the future but the CS is external model only at present.

Re the A340 I dont own the Wilco 330/340 release but do have the 320 from them and I'd say the detail will be very similar, ie good. Take a look at that, the Wilco 320 is still very well detailed systems wise and certainly better than some recent releases (which may look better cosmetically) and has stood the test of time very well

You also have the CLS A340 which is ok , cheap , is the only Arbust that looks distinctive .

I use the POSKY 777 without any problems, VC works fine for me so maybe it's something to do with your video set up.
