Whats she like to fly Ian? Some of there previous stuff has been a bit buggy. Have they started doing any of their systems modeling like they were on about a while back? realistic fuel systems and engine start?

So the retail model is the beta or the one you had Ian? Bit confused. huh.gif Reason is that the one I bought was chucking out bombs randomly and has a annoying cyclic sound over and above the engine which seems unrealistic. Not quite the same standard as the SBD or F7F, so hope they patch it soon, as it doesn't seem to be the full quid to me... unsure.gif Be keen to do some flatop ops with you in the future however thumbup1.gif

The screens where off the Beta , the retail is now current but still having a few problems but many mentioned over at SOH , still a great model but do miss the extra crewman , requires a little more time to double check my list . The sound , requires little adjust .

Carrier Landing s , biggrin.gif Now as Captain i'm sure we can get a few on board , makes me ATC or you if we swap positions , looking forward to doing that and anyone with the Avenger , Dauntless , Hellcat , other s the Corsair and getting cheeky bring the Bearcat and Panther on board . winkyy.gif

Great shots guys! I've been looking at this Avenger for a while now, hoping for its release soon, and now here it is, but I can't quite pull the trigger on it... yet!

I have their Bearcat which is a nice plane, but for some odd reason when I turn on exterior lights the ac starts smoking from the wings, tail and middle of the fuselage. I hoping their up and coming patch (that hopefully comes out soon) addresses this issue.

I've also been looking at their SDB, F6F and P36 (more indecisive between the F6F and the SDB atm).

Again, thanks for the shots gents. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on this one! smile.gif

Cheers,

Brandon

the panther is a definate must have although the interior sounds sound like your ear is way down near the exhaust booming away insead of the expected quieter wine of the turbine usualy heard in the cockpit. I thought Vertigo were stepping it up a notch but it sounds like its just more of the same for them. I like their planes but I never really get attached to them. I just hope the RV8 and DC3 turn out as good as they look.

I sure the DC-3 will be an ace , back to the modeller , maybe a few other version .. the LC-47, course be interesting to see development change and textures , as for the cockpit in one of those it is a little noisey , the Panther , obviously regenerated the sound from the movie 'Bridges over Toko-ri ' the engine whines down , rush off slipstream could cause that , i found in the cabin pass the wing off a 777 was heck a lot noisier than a 747 , when in the cockpit was the other way round , maybe Cowpatz can confirm variations in sound difference between the types .
