Posted: Fri Jul 08, 2011 8:11 pmJust thought I'd share with you all a new AC just released by Milviz a few days ago, their T-38 Jet Trainer. I was a little hesitant in buying for multiple reasons.
1. Someone had complained about terrible FPS (but not knowing their system specs, I can only take that with a grain of salt) I was getting 35 FPS on average. My system specs are in my sig.
2. It looks like a cross between the F-20 Tigershark and F-5E Tiger.
3. $40.00 USD
But I can say I'm glad I picked up this little beauty! The VC is excellent, although no 2D popups aside from the GPS and a load mgr.
There is seating for two! A key = multiple views including a trip to the back seat where you'll find all the same instrumentation that exists up front.
Exterior looks GREAT! Although so far I've only flown the black USAF version as you can see in the pics.
The developers really focused on the training aspects of this aircraft. I tried flying.. erh I mean throwing it around in the Canyonlands of Utah and about bit the dust on several occasions. I've yet to read the 241 page POH as I just made the purchase. Needless to say my landing was atrocious. I'm surprised the plane held together.
