Could some please recommend the best freeware 'Fighter Jet' with high altitude capability and provide a link for me?

Try Kaz Ito's Lightning EE_LIGHT.ZIP and this panel ukmilp1b.zip at

http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/file?rk=U6 ... search.htm

I have modified the panel and acft cfg to do intercepts and tootle around at 50,000. PM me if you're interested in my version.

Cheers guys, I downloaded Kirk's Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon and love it!

It has amazing handling, a neat VC, is easy on FPS and is great fun to fly B)

I am currently getting 'fullf16pnl.zip' to go with it, and also see that I need to installed the DSB Typhoon to make the afterburner work. Anyone know where to get that, as the link in the manual does not work??

Also, are there any key combos I should know about, is it possible to shoot bullets, drop bombs, turn the afterburn on/off etc?

Andrew you should download Viperden by Claus Vendelboe Holmberg.
It contains all the bits that have been added to Kirk's model over time.
Then when you've mastered the aircraft, mosey on over to AVSIM, click on Flightsim TV and scroll down to my F-16 Thunderbirds Video.
It's still my personal favourite because the flying skills are not that obvious.
