FSX US Navy C-47 / R4D-5 "Que Sera Sera" Antarctic Explorer. This Navy Douglas R4D-5L was the first aircraft to land at the South Pole on 31 October 1956. The name Que Sera Sera (what will be will be) was a tribute to the title of a song sung by Doris Day in Alfred Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much. Package includes a modified C-47 model with radar nose, skis, and period Antarctic orange textures. C-47 Skytrain Exterior Base Pack required (C47BASEPACK.ZIP). By Manfred Jahn.

Now this one , or type has so much Christchurch history and the US Navy donated one on its retirement to the Ferrymeed Transport Museum , i even remember the day they towed it across the city , 'STOPGAP' till my Vertigo Studious Dak comes along smile.gif
