Im surprised this hasn't already been mentioned! Ive been informed by this forum that RealAir have released their PT6A-35 (750shp) powered version of the beechcraft b60 duke. Having the piston duke already I know that this turbine version is going to be an excellent IFR tourer, just like the piston one but will do everything twice as well. I think this will fit well in the gap between regional airliners and small GA aircraft. Myself, I prefer to only fly the aircraft if I can fly it reasonably correctly, hence why I stick to the simple GA aircraft. This aircraft will allow for people like me to fly longer and more challenging IFR routes, or fly existing routes faster (because departure and approach are the fun bits!).
More info can be found on their website. Its about NZD$70 at this stage so Ill have to convince myself that I dont need food or petrol for a week. 2 minute noodles have all the nutrition I need for a week... right?
