I'm very sure that was the Catalina hull , could be wrong , but the places some off these old aircraft parts come from really can be another 'Believe or Not ' series , the stories were the get dug up , or even Avengers , once the lend least run out on return to the US or Pacific Fleet were simply dumped over board .

If we want to go down that road, Argosy's could be classed as agricultural aircraft. An old Ex-safe Argo is being used as a shed near Woodbourne. tongue.gif
It would be an Agro Argo

The Argosy was never used as a shed it was bought from SAF and turned into a tourist attraction at a cafe opposite Woodbourne airport.
Yes it could be called an AG plane if you call transporting animals as it has carted horses cattle and sheep as cargo on the odd occasions.

You're thinking of ZK-SAE, ZK-SAF, the one that had a landing gear failure at Woodbourne, was "scrapped except for fuselage and center section on wheel which is used for storage on a farm next to Woodbourne Airfield," from the book Safe in the Skies. smile.gif
