The CH-53E No Ctrl 'E' start on this one , Starters , this is one mean Helicopter , the fastest and biggest single engine western built , three engines .

Ideally not suited if your in for a quick 10 minute jaunt around the NZ , engine start takes that time up .

I got this model during the SP1/SP2 cauising a hell off a lotta problems , once,s sorted and service packs kicked in i was racing .

I would not go to saying Hercules size , its big , but you have to have the love for large rotors

I am seriously tempted by this, but first I must buy VLC (still haven't got it, Mum still needs more convincing i'm afraid) then maybe a C185 from Carenado and a few civil aircraft. No more Military aircraft (unless A2A happen to bring out an Accusim P-51 biggrin.gif )

Oooooo, very nice. I worked on the heavy lift cousin of the CH53 for a while, the S-64 Skycrane.
Where did you get this CH53 from Ian?

Cheers
Graham

Very nice website. Skycrane is mis-labelled though.
The military model they have done is the CH54A as they say, but the civvy model they have done is the S64F not E.
Main visual difference with the CH54B/S64F are the dual mainwheels, and a different main rotor head. Nice looking 64F though!
Registration is not right either. Malcolm (the name is on the nose) is a 64F but is registered N217AC not N189AC which is the registration on the Nemeth model.
N189AC is actually a 64E named Gypsy Lady. I'm being pedantic though smile.gif The model really does look very nice and so does the CH-53!
Might have to put some pennies aside and get the 53. How does it fly by the way?

Cheers
Graham
