Guys,

Does anyone know where I could find an altimeter gauge that shows barometric pressure in hPa instead of, or in addition to, inches mercury ? It's for a B1900D so preferably no digital readout of altitude as for example in a B734. I only have FSX installed on my PC and haven't been able to find such a gauge in any of the default aircraft. Even if someone knows of a downloadable panel for an older version of FS that has such an altimeter, I'd love to know.

Thanks,
Emile.

Yeah - its like the programmers failed to acknowledge that there are pilots in other parts of the world that use Millibars!! I have the PMDG 1900D completely refitted with a combination of RealityXP gauges. The Flightline-T series has a Generic 2 window altimeter, which allows QNH settings in both hPa and inHg. It is payware, but I find them heaps better than the default gauges and many freeware gauges - they're very smooth and very crisp and clear. It will set you back about NZD$38 and is compatible with both FS9 and FSX.

Best of luck,
MAT

The screenshot below doesn't really do it justice but you get the idea.......

Thanks Mat ! Those gauges look superb and I'll go get them. The "native" PMDG B1900D panels are OK but can do with a bit of TLC - I'm very happy with the aircraft itself though.

Cheers,
Emile.
