vintage Air New Zealand font HELP

hi all, I am having trouble doing the ANZ logos on the KBT electra,..I use paintshop pro and dont have any fonts that come close to the old ANZ logos used on amongst others the electra.,would anyone have a font that comes close to it that they could please send me !.. blink.gif

That font is quite different to the standard ANZ off the late 60s early 70s , the standard was a thinner to what was applied , wonder if i could trace a template in Corel draw , it looks the company was coping the QANTAS type in thickness .

Edit : on most they also have a LOCKHEED ELECTRA with star logo under the middle first class pax windows

thanks Ian,..will look for nice clean lockheed electra banner image with the star to use in the repaint thumbup1.gif . I think ive gotten close to the font and yep have noticed the thinner logos used in the pre-ANZ/Qantas era and have reproduced it..

Shes really starting to look Snazzy smile.gif , I have a book on aircraft markings and logos off the 60s , ill check there .

Looking good mate. thumbup1.gif But that 5th star is ment to be on the front of the tail, other than that. Looks perfect.

good spotting bud,..you were right,..on the right hand side the 5th star is at the front and on the left side is to the rear thumbup1.gif
