Looking good Bruce , This aircraft was handed back to the US Marines in May 1944 , until Vertigo released the Dauntless i was at the belief the aircraft had the washed out coral blue and pale blue (blue grey) , receiving three batch,s 18-23-27 . I do have a template of this very aircraft .
The Wigram Museum down the road has the remains of one that went missing on a training flight in the Islands , i do recall the upper blue surface , their really wasnt much left of it . Im sure i do have the batch registration numbers , from here we should be able to track down any variation .

This repaint and several others can be found over at Sim-Outhouse only (for the moment until I up them elsewhere).
The colours have changed slightly.

You'll have to speak to Dan Dunn nicely, he made the SBD and Hawk for Vertigo.

Word on the street is there is a Sea fury being made designer /builder unknown, also an F4F by the same people designing the spit/ hurricane for just flight .......so but not by Dan or Vertigo Studios.
