I'm looking at maybe treating myself to a payware aircraft and was just wondering on peoples opinions on these choices:

Captain Sim 757 (really cheap at $21NZD)
Ariane 737-300 - Sounds like a really good model etc... officially licensed by Boeing... what do others think...?
CLS A340-500/600
CLS A330
and maybe the wilco 777/pss 777 (But they are a hefty bit more than the others...)

I'm liking the look of the Ariane as I love the 737-300 and the aircraft operation seems to be ultra realistic

Dont have any of them but I can tell from reports from others that Ariane has a decidely dodgy backgroud and problematic security system...and very expensive plus you have to pay for liverys. They have just released a limited edition box set at over $1000 US !!!!

I would tend to go for the CS 757 ..especially at that price.

Not sure whether you are FSX or FS9 but do you have the Level D 767 or PMDG 747, MD11 or JS41?..they are all worth a look.

The CS 757 at $21 is a steal. Get that *as well* as something else winkyy.gif

I have the Feelthere/Wilco 737 which I love. Great FMC and the startup procedures appear good (meaning they're pretty complex, but even I can manage it!). No idea about flight models as I'm not an airline pilot. It does feel sort of right though.

Across all forums , do not touch Airane , I dont have and never will , PMDG , the Jetstream 'J41' would be right in your slot .

Yeh i wouldn't pay them i have 2 good mated that have the 738 and they very disappointed.
I would get and have the PMDG J-41 get the CS wX radar to go with it and wait for FSX PMDG 737 NG to be released next year that will be the one to get smile.gif

I really want a jetliner though.

Just anything 737 appeals to me...

Cause if not a 737, I would really want a 777 (Probably most of all actually - one with proper systems).
Anyone got the Wilco or PSS and any thoughts?
Captain sim is tempting but only cause of price. I don't have any real interest in the 757 as much...

Without any question .. you want for FMC and (Probably most of all actually - one with proper systems) LD767 , three printable manuals .. its fun and a very good reputation with backups and advice , they were used internal (NZ) - CHCH WELLY to the world , the LD is the all in one package , second to this is the PMDG 747, not second ! 'EQUAL'

Hmmm it's just if not 737 it's a 777 for me (I really like the 777 - not ever being on a 767 or 757 really doesn't help their chances tho - unfair I know!)

I believe you may get disappointed with the Wilco product , I look at the visual features , the 737 , PMDG your still FP9 you cant go wrong , the 777 heck , i compare them to the CLS/PSS/WILCO grade B

Forget Ariane !!! many negative feedback for it.
I have the PMDG 737 NG and it is great, I guess it is the best 737 add-on out there ( To my opinion ) and it is Boeing certified.

PSS 777 is a good one too, I am very happy with it and the VC is great without wasting a lot of your computer resources.
Without the doubt Level D 767 is fantastic and I enjoy it so much.

Personally I don't like CLS products. I paid a big money for CLS A300-605R and it is a waste, very limited functions and simulated systems.
Instead I got Wilco A320 and EMB 170-190 ( which is awesome ! )

But....
I will never exchange the Project Tupolev 154M with any of add-ons tongue.gif It is free and truly fantastic. Very very detailed simulation of systems. Go Russian ! If you are looking for a challenge try it winkyy.gif

Already got the PMDG 737NG (which is great). I guess it'll either be pss 777 (which is a quite a bit more than the ) Wilco 777...
But the captain sim's low price is a bit of a catcher...

Personally I didn't like Wilco 777 .
But have a look at other forums for comparison. PAS 777 with service pack 2 is very nice.

ETching some YouTube videos of each model can be helpful too.
Good Luck with it winkyy.gif

So why did you want another 737?

737-300! My all time favourite. I prefer them to the NGs! Ahh well, I guess I'll have to decide soon...

Well the Wilco exterior of the 737 is far from perfect, you can tell its not the right shape, but the cockpit and systems make up for that, and where I spend most of your time anyway (cockpit ohmy.gif ....um I mean flight deck...? blush.gif )

I'm really looking at the Captain Sim 757 now though... so cheap... What about the performance in terms of fps etc?

Captain Sim consumes lots Memory and graphic resources , You need to have a good graphic card for it.

LevelD has great frame rate while maintaining the good graphic and details in the cockpit.
