Couldnt hold out till the weekend, so I cashed in this afternoon... smile.gif
Comes with 5 PDF manuals covering the glider itself, the Turbo version, the C4 glide computer, WinchX and a general overview of the package.
Very sharp visual model, yet pretty easy on FPS thumbup1.gif
Control config seems spot-on (slightly heavy ailerons, sensitive elevator), rolling on a point gets much more accurate as you dump the water-ballast and with half full ballast tanks it tries to let you know who's the boss if you let a turn get even slightly uncoordinated... Full marks for getting that right
Spins well, with immediate recovery... Loops well without tumbling over the top like a lot of freeware models will, chandelles are nice and easy smile.gif

Very nice....thanks for posting this...got three aircraft on my list I really want (The Discus, the L-39 and the A2A Cub) but couldnt justify buying all three..went for the L-39 (downloading now) but this remains on my list of possible future purchases...but that Cub also looks pretty cool....decsions, decisions.....

So far these basic dynamics seem great, have just installed a copy of Cumulus!X and SimProbeX...
With any luck I should be able to crank into a few hours soaring some ridge lift in the Southern Alps and the Swiss Alps on Sunday and see how well she soars cool.gif

So which one is the self launch glider, the one with the huge prop??, I have this and ive tried both of them but when I push CTRL E to start they start then cut out if I let go of the keys. The Self Launcher WINCH X is awesome !!

Open the fuel tap... lower right on the cockpit wall, under the PDA/GPS.
Also, make sure the prop brake is off - further aft on the right, silver handle.
CTRL+E will not work with this machine. I'm guessing you have raised the pylon and tried using the ignition switch?
