The Lockheed Constellation , an aircraft coming back to life , been a long whiles and many starting to fly again . smile.gif ..... Hot Doggy

Currently testing my updated pc and was so lucky to get this this morning , two further packs are to be released , this one being the base pack

One movie i have to see is the 'Aviator' , this aircraft was so new , so fast , it even took records from WWII fighters of the day .

There are some brilliant doco's and video on Utube about , one a real crack up , the Cap handing out cigarettes , the engineer dont smoke till now , the 40's and 50's rolleyes.gif

The detail , well i'm still looking smile.gif

still looking

Absolutley Beautiful Ian,................. thumbup1.gif
To my mind, still the most elegant, classy, stylish, and beautiful Piston Prop airliner of all time !!
The perfect combination of style, grace, comfort, and functionality.

I'll get out the graph on speeds , these are variable fuel air mixture and prop speeds , carb heat is nominal keeping an eye on temp , cowl flaps are to be wide open on ground running , 20 % for takeoff and should be closed at 18000 .

EDIT: It comes with a manual ! cool.gif in pdf

Found the manual, thank you Ian. I also have a Co-worker who's dad flew the Connie and is going to assit me in learning just as soon as he gets FSX Gold and the Connie. Me and his son are setting up his computer to run FSX and also Bookmarking some Payware sites of the classic Aircraft for him and marking freeware areas.

Beautiful aircraft. My first ever flight in an aeroplane was a Connie. 1947 - TWA - New York to Rhine Main with stops in Newfoundland and England. I can vaguely remember it . . was five years old was smitten with the stewardess. wub.gif

Glorious aircraft, and great screenies Ian, great detail on those clouds, you must have a mean video card?
Did Qantas ever fly these over the Tasman to NZ?

Throttle quad , real world weather , realistic settings , ... Dean this model is .. well just love it , i would still need to put the Boeing Strat against it ....

QANTAS had the later model , 0749's then to the Supers , i have seen photos off the airline parked up during airport openings and air race's in NZs 50s

G/card , the GTX295 , 1792MB GDDR3 , hmm yeah little over the top , results , very amazing

Don , i went straight to the grave yard , Tucson Arizona , the Davis Monathan Air force base and land off many Lockheed aircraft .

Snakes .. crawly things that bite .. watching video and DVDs on how they revive the aircraft ,

Tell ya one thing , i really am looking forward to the updates
