Just bought the new L-39 Albatros from http://www.lotussim.com/

all I can say is WOW!!!

Older repaints for FS9, FSX and P3D are on avsim

I am keen as mustard on eventually getting this. Ive been wanting an L-39 for ages but really wanted one for FS9, but its a bit out of my budget at the mo.

The FPS also worries me as my rig only just handles FSX how I want it. I am okay with mid settings and a fairly simple aircraft.(ie Carenado 172/Realair SF-260/Sptifire) but anything else more complicated (ie default aircraft with Garmin 1000) and some bigger airports (ie NZAA) it gets bogged down. How does the FPS compare with those aircraft, Jankees (presuming you have them)? Quite keen to fly this out of the REalNZ Wanaka scenery.

Heres some pics of two of NZ's three L-39s ..which may get your repaint brushes going if you feel inclined smile.gif ...there suppose to be another in Nelson but I cant find a picture of it..its got a pretty wild paint scheme I believe

When I went down to Nelson I managed to find it and it was a bright metalic blue.

Wow Bob that ....looks fantastic!...I have just bought RealNZ Wanaka for FSX where this Albatross lives .....

Sorry I dont have a decent high res photo of the blue one...Ill ask around and see what I can do

HMM i have looked on the net for a while and no other photos of this aircraft it will be a mission to get one i think. sad.gif
