Is this in fs9.gif or fsx.gif ?

I have mine running fine in fsx.gif - with a NZ Repaint:

Mike Stone AirNZ Link Mt Cook or Flight1 AirNZ Link Mt Cook

I had a similar problem with panel and resolved it by adjusting setting sliders in FSX.

Have you applied the update? When you say you have a black panel, do you mean the insruments don't light up? Are you aligning the GPS?

Wups - sorry - wrong plane! laugh.gif

1) Do you use the Flight1 configurator to set the aircraft up? (atrconfig.exe)
2) If so, are you starting "Cold and Dark" or "ready for Taxi - Engines Running"?
3) Are you setting up the FMC?

There's a certain set of steps for starting from "dark" ... but I'll wait to hear on the above first.

I just did a complete start from dark - and documented it as I went. I'll PM you the procedure if needs be.

BUT ... it occurred to me that it may simply be because you're not un-dimming the HSI <???>.

Fiddle with the *outer* rings on those two rotary knobs. You may need to do this for both pilot and co-pilot EFIS displays.

I'll PM you later ... just sloping off to bed winkyy.gif

HSI is the Horizontal Situation Indicator ... the lower gauge. The ADI is the top yellow/blue thingie. But you need to bring up the EFIS panels via those two little icons on the bottom left (I put a red box around them). After that, try fiddling with those two rotaries (also with a red box in the pic). One is for the HSI, the other for the ADI.

You should have a pretty comprehensive PDF manual with the ATR. It's well over the top (!!) but it's worth ploughing through - particularly with respect to setting up the FMC.

I forgot to ask - are you getting as far as starting the engines ... but just can't see the gauges?

This might help.Go to Flight One website technical support section.Select ATR 72-500.Then select ATR bug list and at top of list will come up 'missing cocpit and exterior'.Take it from there to download remedy.

Sometimes this issue happens due to missing true fonts in windows font directory. I am not sure what is the specific font(s) for this plane but you can google missing font for atr and you might get some results.

I had similar problem with PSS 777 and it was resolved after I downloaded and added the required font.

Admaski's help would be the solution to your problem too : )
