She looks ready to upload, except for one issue:
The access door on the cowl is a lot darker than the surrounding maroon color, as you can see.

Hmmm ... weird. I'll check, thanks! I think it's because I forgot to add that panel to the alpha channel.

Do you have any info for that aircraft that I could put in the aircraft.cfg entry? Past/present owner - whether it was part of a flying school (and where) etc. Also - what variation N6113V actually is, if not a 182 RG etc.

N6113V is a 1980 Cessna 172RG Cutlass. Serial number 172RG0581.
When I flew it, the aircraft was based at KCXY (Capital City Airport), Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with the Harrisburg Flight School (though I think it was someone's personal plane that they let the flight school "borrow").
It is now based at L35 (Big Bear Airport), Big Bear City, California.

Thanks for that - all tweaks done and description added winkyy.gif.

EDIT: Archive now up on Flightsim.Com here: c182rgii_n6113v.zip.

With an entry in NZFSIM.

I'll tackle AussieX shortly.

It's perfect! Installed the higher-res textures right away, and changed the aircraft.cfg to just one pilot (personal preference) and I can tell you that it looks absolutely fantastic, and is ready to upload!

Besides uploading to Fligthtsim.com, could you also upload to Aussiex? That way, more than one website has the file in case either of them go down in the future and lose their files (like Avsim did).

Great ... done and dusted then!

I'm a subscriber at AussieX, but haven't uploaded anything there before. I'll investigate.

I'll pass on that one, I'm afraid ...I'm currently doing a revised RNZAF CS B757. Anyone else?

Here we go ...

This is for the CS *Freighter* version. Still some tweaks to do, but nearly there ... rego now changed to NZ7571 (to go with the 71 on the tail).

Hopefully the CS Standard 757 won't be too bad to create from this set of textures. I'll need to get approval from David (Dax) Sweetman at CS/McPhat if we want to release it publicly.

Looking the part thumbup1.gif , a little mod to the cfg , i'm sure it will glue directly on to the standard , i did not get the freighter version .

Not quite as easy as that. I had to swap some engine textures over winkyy.gif

Here she is ... transmogrified onto the standard 757-200 RR:

All done and dusted - just waiting for approval.

@Ian ... you've been around the repainting world for a bit. Do you have a recent email address for "Dax"?

No need to contact Dax. I've reworked the textures from scratch, using the CS paintkit. Here's the result:

I've sent it up to Flightsim.Com here: cs_757_rnzaf75.zip. It's also available at AussieX.

Hi Guys,

Would anyone be interested in doing a repaint for the Aerosoft Beaver in this colour scheme?

A HUGE thanks in advance for any help?

I'll see if I still have the AS Beaver in my hangar. I had a bit of a clear-out before my last re-install.

Thanks Adam for having a look in.

Ian, she was a great airshow and having a long chat to Frank Wright about the full resto on this aircraft was fantastic!!

I also went to the Croydon Aircraft Company at Manaville and spent a long time just ear bashing the guys down at the work shop. It was amazing to look around and ask so many questions about their facility and projects.

It would be great though to have Franks Beaver in FSX. Also Adam would you be keen to do the repaint of the DH.89 Rapide that he Croydon Aircraft Company has there? I can posta picture?

Cheers.

Dave Garwood is about to release a new version of his excellent Rapide. I expect I'll be doing a few repaints for that, when it comes out. In the meantime, collect as many ref pics as you can winkyy.gif

I sorted the windows - I had the wrong model loaded!

I have good broadside pics, but no decent ones showing the top (or underside) of the wings. If you spot any ...

That Rapide is certainly going to be popular. My ZK-AKU paint for the old one has been downloaded three times more than any of my other repaints! That - and Ants Tiger Moth - must be the best two freeware prop planes out there.

I could not get shots of the top (for obvious reasons) so when I asked Frank (the owner of the Aircraft), he told me that the top was a mirror image of what is on the bottom of the wings.

I think shot 3 and 4 show the best of what is going on with the wing. Frank told me that where the blue wraps around the leading edge it is the same on the top and the diagonal panel that comes from the fuselage to the wing is the same ontop too. There is no rego on the wings and the the wing tips are all blue top and bottom.

When i get home tonight i could do a sketch, scan then post if you would like? The bottom of the fuselage is all white.

Your paint of ZK-AKU is the only paint i use for the Rapide. You have done a fantastic job on that one Adam. I am chomping at the bit for Dave's new beast and of corse your fantastic repaints for it!

Have you ever been down to The Croydon Aircraft Company? Those great planes in the flesh and a good amount of them under one roof is mind blowing! The craftmanship in the resto's is so amazing!

Cheers.
