Charl cool.gif Now just for an airshow display smile.gif

Airshow? did I hear somebody say AIRSHOW???
For your viewing pleasure...first the little clip from Whenuapai to soften you up:

and then, the AIRSHOW:

This is one of my favourite aircraft, which surprised me initially...you can do airliner stuff with it, but you can also take it by the scruff of the neck and Do Other Stuff.
I have all the available FS models, and the AS/Virtavia version is the best there is.
As to the VC: it arrived as a gift, because the money was spent in another financial year...

Haven't seen one on ski's, unlike the C130? wonder why it's not necessary.

Heh. It's a really big aircraft, and you do get a sense of it at Wanaka, don't you?
Don't think they'd do that at WOW somehow...

Agree...
Couple of things I learned while playing with this beast:
Flaps are blown (the undersides are titanium to handle the exhaust heat).
So you fly in flat, no flare, you add a touch of power instead which provides the last bit of "float" before touchdown.
And, the reversers blow upward from the top of the engines, to avoid FOD
Cool plane.
