That's right. Future variations will follow, likely "zk_dje2,zip" etc.

Any chance of the details, makes it so much easier for us to put on the database. Loving the repaints BTW!

FS2004/FSX Fletcher Fu24 ZK-CYN, s/n 148, was one of around 25 Fletchers operated over the years by Wanganui Aero Work. After many years of faithful service over the countryside she was finally withdrawn from use in early 2004. This repaint shows her as she appeared in September 1981. Repaint for FU24_V2.ZIP by Deane Baunton, repaint by Zac Yates.

FS2004/FSX Fletcher Fu24 ZK-CZA

FS2004/FSX Fletcher Fu24 ZK-CZA. ZK-CZA/SN151 was built in mid-1969, and was for many years one of the large Wanganui Aero Work FU24 fleet, and in WAW tradition was named "Makokomikoa". The scheme depicted is how CZA appeared in February 1979. Today CZA is still current, flying with Central South Island Helicopters. This is a repaint for FU24_V2.ZIP by Deane Baunton. Repaint by Zac Yates.

FS2004 (ACOF) - FS2004 General Aviation
FS2004/FSX Fletcher Fu24 ZK-DJD
[ Download | View ]
Name: zk_djd.zip Size: 1,961,776 Date: 03-22-2009 Downloads: 25
FS2004/FSX Fletcher Fu24 ZK-DJD. Fletcher ZK-DJD lived most of its life as seen here, as a Fletcher FU24-950. After being taken out of service in 1990 it was reborn a decade later as the Fletcher Falcon, with an LTP-101 turboprop. Sadly the new ZK-LTF crashed on April 4 2003, killing both pilot Joe Lourie and loader-driver Richard McCrae. This repaint shows DJD as she appeared in the 1980s. Repaint for FU24_V2.ZIP by Deane Baunton. By Zac Yates.

FS2004 (ACOF) - FS2004 General Aviation
FS2004/FSX Fletcher Fu24 ZK-EGK
[ Download | View ]
Name: zk_egk.zip Size: 1,973,550 Date: 03-22-2009 Downloads: 26
FS2004/FSX Fletcher Fu24 ZK-EGK. ZK-EGK is probably the longest-serving of the Wanganui Aero Work Fletcher fleet. Built in early 1977, "Mangawheroa" has been going strong ever since and, with a new fin modification, she continues to fly in WAW's distinctive color scheme today. Repaint for FU24_V2.ZIP by Deane Baunton. Repaint by Zac Yates.

FS2004 (ACOF) - FS2004 General Aviation
FS2004/FSX Fletcher Fu24 ZK-EHX
[ Download | View ]
Name: zk_ehx.zip Size: 1,966,288 Date: 03-22-2009 Downloads: 29
FS2004/FSX Fletcher Fu24 ZK-EHX. S/N 262/ZK-EHX was the "youngest" Fletcher ever to fly in Wanganui Aero Work colors. Named "Tapuiwahine", parts from ZK-BIT were used in construction. ZK-EHX flew with WAW for several years before being written off in an accident at Tiriraukawa in January 1997. Repaint for FU24_V2.ZIP by Deane Baunton. By Zac Yates.

Perfect thanks a heap. Can I use your descriptions?
EDIT: Just realised do you have the links handy? If not I can do without. Search Zac Yates at flightsim.com right?

A BIG thanks for doing the spadework on this clapping.gif
It'll be a pleasure to see them all up there (I just LURV those Fletchers!) - though I'm wondering whether the whole "fleet" would be better distributed as a combined archive <?>.

Yes - may be an idea to wait to see what K5054NZ says ... it could save you a load of (pretty repetitive) work.

If you're homesick, you won't be wanting to hear about the Whenuapai show then, will you? laugh.gif

Now - there's a point ... why don't WAW display a Fletcher at air shows (or do they)? Could be quite a sight ... dumping a whole ballast tank of nitrate onto the crowd line laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Seriously though - I'd love to see one up here in Dorkland. I expect they're a common sight everywhere else, but they're as much a part of our aviation heritage as an RNZAF Herc, Shirley?

And I'm not homesick I'm home from school because I'm sick wink.gif

A WAW fleet pack will be great, just let me finish them all!

We only have one flying Fletcher ATM, and our Cresco Display Team was disbanded. I think that a recession wouldn't be the best time to finance a fuel-guzzling aerobatic routine of little commercial value winkyy.gif

Last night I started down grading the 950M/954 400 HP Fletcher to a basic 950, just like you'd expect in the 1970's. This in the days before GPS and all the other mod cons. I will look at paint schemes for the major Fletcher operators of the time - James Aviation, Robertson Air Service, Fieldair and Wanganui Aero Work. The base textures used will be exactly the same as my current Fletchers, so that will make everything easier. I don't plan on going down to 300HP and earlier Fletcher models as there is a lot more work to do.

No worries Deane! The WAW early 950s were pretty much the same scheme as today:

Can't wait! Robertson, James AND Fieldair? Brilliant!!! Just quietly, I always loved the Fieldair yellow winkyy.gif With just the basic schemes I should be able to expand the FS fleet even more.

Sorry to hear that. Hope it's not too "messy" laugh.gif

Looking at the pic above ... TEN Fletchers! Do they still have that many?
