The only reason I am considering buying it is the freeware model rates fairly low IMO compared to other freeware FS2004 warbirds, and the RNZAF scheme has really thick lines all over it which look a little unrealistic and distract me...

Is it worth it? Quite expensive, and not the best aircraft I've ever bought.
But I've always had a soft spot for it, and I don't think I'll ever regret it:) It is fun to fly, and with some nice local paints it'll be a favourite for a while, I think.
